Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is a programming paradigm that Java is built upon, and mastering OOP is crucial for becoming a proficient Java developer. This helps simplify the program by focusing on high-level operations, leaving the details to be handled by subclasses.

Learn how to design systems using OOP techniques, manage class relationships, and use inheritance to extend functionality. Also, understand the importance of interfaces and abstract classes in promoting loose coupling and enhancing code flexibility. Finally, get comfortable with designing reusable, maintainable, and extensible systems by applying OOP principles in your projects.
